A group of ten silver plated tennis trophies for overseas tournaments, in various forms & sizes, including a Sheffield plate dish inscribed WOMEN'S DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIP OF VICTORIA, WON BY, CHRISTINE TRUMAN & MARIA BUENO, 1959, another Australian trophy from the same tournament (ladies singles runner-up), the remainder of the lot comprising 4 examples for the Pacific Coast Championships, USA, 3 for the Altamira Championships, Venezuela & 1 for the South African Championships; sold with a large wood & metal Marlboro International Player Award for Christine Truman, 1959, & related magazine article (12)
