Danny Blanchflower's signed white No.4 Tottenham Hotspur 1963 European Cup Winners' Cup final jersey, signed in blue biro on the embroidered 'cockerel' cloth badge, long-sleeved appendix Jack Coxford (Tottenham Hotspur) Lots 353 to 361 Jack Coxford played football with Sunderland & Birmingham before joining Spurs' nursery team Northflet United as player/coach in 1935. By 1950 Coxford was designated as 'first assistant' to Cecil Poynton, suggesting that he would have played a prominent role in the coaching & training of the Tottenham Hotspur reserves team. He was also a qualified physiotherapist. Coxford continued his association with Spurs during the Bill Nicholson era. footnote for lot 353 Presented as a gift to Jack Coxford by Danny Blanchflower following the historic European Cup Winners' Cup victory in 1963.
