A pair of bearer's torches from the XVI Olympiad, Melbourne, 1956, aluminium with cut-out Olympic rings to bowl above the legend XVI OLYMPIAD 1956, OLYMPIA-MELBOURNE, both have been adapted for the fitting of electric lamps, 41cm., 16in. PROVENANCE: Fotis Issaakidis, the Greek Olympian shooter who competed in the four Olympic Games between 1956 & 1968. His event was the trap and skeet.
