A UEFA limited edition set of Champions League club badges for season 1998-99, Swiss, 24 enamelled metal badges for the participating clubs displayed within a paper lined Perspex tower, from a limited edition of 900, British representation comprising Manchester United & Arsenal, height 28cm., 11in. These badges, and those in the following two lots, were never made available to the general public. UEFA presented them as gifts to officials, sponsors, contractors etc. The present example commemorates Manchester United's triumph in their historic treble-winning season.
