A 1950s jockey's jacket in the famous Crazy Quilt colours, by Boyce & Rogers of Newmarket These colours were first registered in 1950 to Chesney Allen, a member of the Crazy Gang. Their distinctive & highly colourful pattern together with their association with the popular entertainer made these colours instantly recognisable on British Racecourses during the 1950s. For the avoidance of doubt, prospective bidders should note that these original 1950s colours are being sold as a collector's item and are not available for registration at the BHB.
