A very rare ticket for Pele's 1,000th goal match, Vasco da Gama v Santos, played at the Maracana 19th November 1969 Pele's 1,000th goal in senior football was scored from a 78th minute penalty kick. In an extraordinary piece of theatre the game was stopped to allow Pele to run a lap of honour with a shirt emblazoned 1,000. The game eventually finished as a 3-1 victory for Santos. The vendor of this ticket attended the match.
