Alfred Bright (op. 1880-1929) RISING FALCON HELD BY HIS GROOM signed, watercolour heightened with gouache 33 by 43cm., 13 by 17in. Rising Falcon was foaled in 1900 by St Issey out of Magpie. The gelding was a prolific winner at minor levels, registering 17 victories between 1902 and 1906 for his owner Mr Edwin Clarke.
