A Manna racing plate, chromium plated and mounted on a velvet backboard with a photographic portrait of the racehorse and a name plaque, in an ebonised frame, 19 by 20cm., 7 1/2 by 8in. The 1925 Derby and 2,000 Guineas winner Manna was a bay colt foaled in 1922 by Phalaris out of Waffles. He won two other career races including the Richmond Stakes. Manna was owned by Mr H E Morriss, trained by Fred Darling and ridden by Steve Donoghue in his Classic successes.
