An Ambiguity racing plate, chromium plated and mounted on a velvet backboard with a photographic portrait of the racehorse and a name plaque, in an ebonised frame, 23 by 20cm., 9 by 8in. The 1953 Oaks winner Ambiguity was a bay filly foaled in 1950 by Big Game out of Amber Flash. She won two other career races including the Jockey Club Cup. Ambiguity was owned by Lord Astor, trained by R J Colling and ridden by J Mercer in the Oaks.
