Terry Yorath's red Wales international cap season 1976-77, inscribed 1976-1977 This cap was given by Terry Yorath to the present vendor's father Sir Jack Scamp, chairman of Coventry City FC, at the time when the Welsh international was club captain. Sir Jack had suffered a heart attack an Terry Yorath gave him the international cap during a hospital visit. Terry Yorath won a total of 59 full international Welsh caps. In season 1976-77 he made six appearances for Wales including a famous 1-0 victory over England at Wembley and an impressive 3-0 win against Czechoslovakia in a World Cup qualifier at Wrexham. The other opposition in this season comprised West Germany, Scotland (twice) and Northern Ireland.
