A fine gentleman's fishing chest, with a walnut veneered, mahogany trim and beading, calf skin linings, brass fitting and 30 exterior and 3 interior painted panels all depicting fish or fishing themes, the top section with a hinged lid revealing removable fly and float storage trays, the level below with three drawers fitted to accommodate variously sized paraphernalia. a sliding pull out work surface, below is an open level storage facility, the lower section has a larger lower drawer proportioned for reels and with a removable work box, to the left and right are stands to store rods and other equipment, height 91.5cm., 36in., width 86.5cm., 34in,, depth 45.5cm., 18in.
