An official Everton FC itinerary for the 1906 F.A. Cup final issued to their player Harold Hardman, bearing ownership signature from Hardman; sold together with an 'in memorium' postcard titled IN TEARFUL MEMORY OF NEWCASTLE UNITED WHOSE HOPES OF WINNING THE FINAL TIE AT CRYSTAL PALACE WERE SHATTERED ON APRIL 21ST 1906'; and an original pen & ink and watercolour illustration of the Everton team who played in the 1907 F.A. Cup final (3) After his playing career Harold Hardman - who retained amateur status - went on to become a senior administrator in the game, and Chairman of Manchester United. He had also been a member of the gold-medal winning Great Britain football team at the 1908 Olympics.
