In 1927 Hagan finished 1 up on Joe Turnesa. This type of ball with the WALTER/HAGEN stamp was only used by Hagen in Championship play. It was given by Hagen to a friend on the west coast, and was later acquired by a golf ball collector and, in turn, sold to the current vendor.
