Luis Vinicio: a sky blue No.9 Italian Football League representative jersey, short-sleeved, white v-neck collar, embroidered cloth badge inscribed THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE, ITALIAN MATCH 1963-64 This match was played in the San Siro on 9th May 1964. The Italian League won 1-0. Luis Vinicio was born in Brazil but came to Italy at the age of 23 to join Naples. His nickname was O Lione. He then transferred to Bologna and was a Vicenza player when representing the Italian League in 1964. In season 1965-66 he scored 25 goals in Serie A, a record that would not be broken until Marco van Basten eclipsed this feat in 1991-92. After his playing days he entered management in Italian football and has had many appointments including spells at Napoli and Lazio.
