A 9ct. gold and enamel Football League representative medal season 1901-02, inscribed THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE, ENGLAND V IRELAND, W. WOOLDRIDGE, 1901 This Inter-League match took place at the Manor Ground, Plumstead, on 9th November 1901 before 12,000 spectators. The Football League defeated the Irish League 9-0 with Wolverhampton Wanderers's Billy Wooldridge scoring a hat-trick. Billy Woolridge was the captain of the Wolves 1908 F.A. Cup winning team.
