That’s a wrap! We've reached the end of the auction and we’re busy tying up final bids behind the scenes. Thanks for being part of it — we’ll be in touch soon.

A Juan Manuel Fangio-signed 1958 Cuban Grand Prix poster, a colour facsimile reproduction bearing his marker pen signature, framed and glazed along with his honorary Mercedes-Benz business card and two period monochrome photographic prints of him in his Maserati 450S during practice, plus a colour photographic print of the actual signing, 84 by 83cm., 33 by 32 1/2in. Then current World Champion for a record fifth time, Fangio never took the start of what would have been his last ever sportscar race. He watched the event on television alongside members of Fidel Castro's revolutionary 26th of July Movement who had kidnapped him at gunpoint the evening before the race. Having generated worldwide publicity for their cause, they soon released him unharmed after the race.
