Jimmy Dugdale's winner's tankard from the first Football League Cup final in 1961, electroplated, engraved with the crest of the Football League and inscribed THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE CUP, 1960-61, WINNERS, 13cm., 5in. high Jimmy Dugdale (Aston Villa) Lots 714 & 715 James 'Jimmy' Dugdale (1932-2008) was best known for his career with Aston Villa with whom he won a F.A. Cup winner's medal in 1957, a 2nd Division Championship medal in 1960, and was an inaugural League Cup winner in 1961. 1961. His playing position was Centre-Half (i.e. centre-back in current parlance). The Centre-half had previously won a F.A. Cup winner's medal with West Bromwich Albion in 1954.
