A 1950s autograph album containing Busby Babes and other signatures, including a double-page of 28 Manchester United signatures in ink comprising Len Taylor, Berry, Blanchflower, Pegg, Webster, Whitefoot, Viollet, Foulkes, Goodwin, Edwards, Tommy Taylor, Wood, Cassidy, Cope, Greaves, McFarlane, Hamilton, McGuinness, Whelan, Scott, Charlton, Byrne, Doherty, Jones, Scanlon, Compton and two others, plus a page of Manchester City autographs, a pen & ink cartoon by the Daily Mail cartoonist Eric Thompson dated 1953, and individual signatures including the cricketers Don Bradman, Brian Statham and the motorcyclist Geoff Duke, also some non-sporting personalities These autographs were collected by the father of the current vendor who was the head printer for the Daily Mail in Manchester.
