Rare 1926 and 1927 R.A.C. Grand Prix official programmes, original copies of these two Brooklands events dated 7th August 1926 and 1st October 1927, both with 24 staple-bound pages, with pencil annotation, the second featuring a monochrome photograph of the previous year's race on its cover, both in good condition (2) 1926 saw the first ever British Grand Prix - in all but name - take place at Brooklands. The French Delage team won the race and returned to repeat the victory the following year, but Grand Prix motor racing was temporarily in decline and no attempt was made to repeat the event thereafter.
