A collection of eight official Brooklands armbands, in different coloured linens, most elasticated, all with R.CROOK & CO. KEW BRIDGE printed on the reverse, variously printed for different events: 1931 - THE BRITISH DOUBLE TWEVE - PIT ATTENDANT, 1937 - J.C.C. INTERNATIONAL TROPHY - MARSHALL, 1937 - BRDC '500' - MECHANIC, 1938 - JCC INTERNATIONAL TROPHY - DRIVER, 1938 - BRITISH EMPIRE TROPHY - B.B.C., CAMPBELL TROPHY - DRIVER, CAMPBELL TROPHY - PIT ATTENDANT, CAMPBELL TROPHY - ANNOUNCER (8) A letter of sale attributes the 1931 armband to the estate of Lord Howe, while the Campbell Trophy items are from 1937 and were purchased directly from the estate of Reggie Tongue. This event marked the inauguration of the Campbell Road Circuit.
