Two 1966 World Cup stadium flags, a large-sized issue with maker's label for Porter Bros Ltd of Liverpool, the white linen flag centrally printed with the official 1966 World Cup insignia, strung for flying, 132 by 274cm., 52 by 108in.; and a medium-sized issue with the centre of the white linen flag stitched with a circular printed cotton panel bearing the official 1966 World Cup insignia, strung for flying, 91.5 by 183cm., 36 by 72in. The smaller of the two flags was made to a higher specification with the insignia printed on cotton and applied to the flag, rather than printed directly on to the linen.
