Sheet music for the anthem of the Belgian football team at the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam, titled ''Vas-Y, Fernand!'', a one step sportif by Dolys, Vandervinne and Cadin The Belgian team won their preliminary round match v Luxembourg 5-3. They were knocked out in the quarter final by eventual silver medallists Argentina who won 6-3. Fernand may be a reference to the Belgian footballer Fernand Nisot (1895-1973) who at 16 was, and still is, the youngest player ever to have been selected for the national team. He was a member of the triumphant gold medal winning Belgium team at the Antwerp Olympic Games of 1920. Various football songsheets can be found in the FIFA Museum collection.
