A fine autographed souvenir album relating to the match between a City of Birmingham representative team and Hamburg at the Volkspark Stadion 15th August 1953, pasted with various b&w photographs relating to the match and the visit to the city, together with memorabilia including a match ticket, itinerary, menus, press cuttings etc., and signed by the Birmingham and Hamburg teams, the Birmingham team comprising players from Birmingham City, Aston Villa, Coventry City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, & West Bromwich Albion, namely Merrick, Parkes, Green, Allen, Kirk, Wright, Griffin, Hodgkisson, Swinbourne, Murphy & Lockhart
