Notts County v Newton Heath programme played at Trent Bridge 19th December 1896, a Richards' Football Card, printed four sides with line ups, advertisements and fixtures, professional restoration to spine This card was printed by C.H. Richards of Lower Parliament Square, Nottingham, who produced similarly designed cards for both Forest and County. The present card appears to have originally been for the Nottingham Forest v Liverpool fixture played 28th November 1896. As unsold printers scrap, a team sheet for the County fixture v Newton Heath was pasted onto the card for the 19th December game. The original details for the Forest v Liverpool details can still be seen if the card is held up to the light.
