A large collection of wooden framed tennis racquets, including a Gamages 'Champion' circa 1915 with convex wedge, damage to handle; an unusual early 20th racquet with an oversize head and short handle, a 'Marvel' racket circa 1915 with a convex wedge, in moderate condition; a Dunlop patent stringing racket circa 1928; another racquet circa 1927; together with 28 further wooden framed racquets, mainly Dunlop Maxply, also Ranger, McEnroe, Tournament and a Wilson Jack Kramer, some bearing Dunlop Waltham Abbey factory labels where they had been returned for repairs/restringing; the lot also including four wooden tennis presses; eleven badminton/squash racquets, mainly Dunlop Maxply; a small quantity of tennis balls in cans, tubes & boxes, mostly Dunlop & Slazenger; and a Dunlop mesh pattern golf ball (a qty.)
