An autographed display of Joe Louis Heavyweight Boxing Champion of the World between 1937 and 1949, the b&w portrait photograph of Louis in boxing pose signed boldly in ink and inscribed ''thanks'', mounted, framed & glazed, 36 by 31cm., 14 by 12in. Joe Louis still holds the record for holding the world heavyweight boxing title longer than any other fighter. He was champ for 10 years, 8 months and 8 days and relinquished the title only through retirement.
