Moreover, they were training for the 2nd Test at Station Road, Swinton, on 10th November 1951 which was the first time that a rugby league match had been broadcast (BBC) on British television. Viewers witnessed an exciting match with a last-minute penalty sealing a 20-19 victory for the home side. not illustrated
