A group of seven cricket bats signed by touring teams to England between 1935 and 1957, comprising: South Africa 1935, 1951 & 1955, New Zealand 1949, West Indies 1950 & 1957 and Australia 1953; sold together with a pair of original advertisement artworks for Gradidge cricket bats, both signed with the initials W A P, the first portraying Gradidge factory workers testing the bats power by pile driving; the other portraying a sergeant major inspecting his straight and soldier like Gradidge cricket bats, 28 by 39cm., 11 by 15 1/4in., the second framed & glazed (10)
