John Dempsey: a blue Chelsea No.5 1970 F.A. Cup final jersey, an unworn spare, long-sleeved, inscribed WEMBLEY 1970 John Dempsey joined Chelsea from neighbouring club Fulham in January 1969 for a fee of ?70,000. He immediately established himself as a first team regular for manager Dave Sexton. Dempsey was a member of the Chelsea 1970 F.A. Cup and 1971 European Cup Winners' Cup winning teams. The centre-back also won a total of 19 caps for the Republic of Ireland.
