However, this examples is not from the inaugural Premier League campaign as it has no Premier League flashes to the sleeves. It is therefore probably from a pre-season friendly or from United's short-lived 1992-93 UEFA Cup campaign, where shirts did not bear Premier League logos. The First Round penalty shoot out loss at FC Torpedo Moscow would have rendered such a shirt redundant.
