Unknown Artist 1937 F.A. CUP FINAL a London Transport poster, double royal size format, 101.6 by 63.5mm., 40 by 25in., backed onto linen, published by London Transport, 1937 London Transport Museum Archive Reference Number: 1984/70/36. A similar poster was published for alighting at Alperton tube station. The 1937 F.A. Cup final was played at Wembley Stadium on 1st May. Sunderland beat Preston North End 3-1. The Sunderland goals were scored by Bobby Gurney, Raich Carter and Eddie Burbanks. The Preston reply was scored by Frank O'Donnell.
