Memorabilia relating to the England v Wales wartime international match at Wembley 25th September 1943, comprising: an official programme signed by Hardwick, Scott, and Matthews for England, and by Lambert, Jones, Burgess, Sidlow, A Powell and I Powell; together with a ticket stub and a 'pirate' programme (3) The match was unusual in as much that both teams had a hat-trick scorer, Welsh (for England, ironically!) and Lowrie for Wales. England won 8-3. Ivor Powell was injured in the match and, famously, replace by England's reserve Stan Mortensen.
