Three German trophies won by Lester Piggott riding Aracari in 1978, in the form of two German beakers stamped sterling, the first inscribed BADEN-BADEN 1978 PREIS DES CASINO BADEN-BADEN, the second and larger beaker inscribed PREIS DER DUSSELDORFER NACHRICHTEN, 18 JUNI 1978, the larger 11.5cm., 4 1/2in. high; together with an electroplated card tray inscribed FREMERSBERG-AUSGLEICH, BADEN-BADEN 1978, 18cm., 7in. Aracari was a bay colt foaled in 1975 by Le Mas Marvent out of Aziza. He was owned by the Gestut Park Wiedingen and trained by Zimmermann.
