A fine carved oak billiard scoreboard cabinet, probably by Thurston & Co. Ltd., London, late 19th century, fitted with a 'clock' scorer, the dial bearing the names C H Russell & Julius Sax's Patent, 108 Great Russell Street, London, flanked by a 'life pool' marking board and slate blackboard, fitted with drawers for ball and accessories above a lower cabinet space, all enclosed by elaborately carved panel doors, the interior of which are fitted with cue racking, stepped cornice, the whole raised on a plinth, approximately 198cm., 78in. high and 152cm., 60in. wide
