Enquire nowA very rare 1928 Wimbledon 'pirate' Lawn Tennis Championships programme, otherwise known as a 'Jolly Rodger', a programme for Monday 2nd July, listing the order of play for the day, A4-size, printed by Elson & Sons of North End Road, London, fine condition It is believed that the printer obtained a newspaper 'hot off the press' and printed this programme on the same day in order to sell it to queuing spectators outside the ground. The Champions this year were Rene Lacoste and Helen Wills.
