A Sheffield & Hallamshire County Football Association representative cap awarded to Arthur Brown in season 1921-22, the blue cap inscribed S. & H. F.A., 1921-2 Former England international Arthur Brown had retired from football after a career with Sheffield United, Sunderland and Middlesbrough, whom he had joined in the close season 1912-13. However, after the First World War he returned to the field playing and gaining honours in local Sheffield football. He was aged 36 when winning this S & H F.A. cap.
