Jack Grundy's 9ct. gold & enamel 1955 Rugby League Challenge Cup final winner's medal, inscribed LANCASHIRE, YORKSHIRE, CUMBERLAND, RUGBY FOOTBALL LEAGUE, WINNERS 1954-55, in original case of issue; sold together with his runners-up medal from the 1956-57 Challenge Cup final, designed the same as the winner's medal but in silver-gilt & enamel, in original case of issue (2) 1955 remains the only year that Barrow have lifted the Challenge Cup in their history. They have been runners-up on four occasions, 1938, 1951, 1957 & 1967.
