A fine and rare pair of lawn tennis net poles by Feltham's of London circa 1895, the pine wood poles complete with brass fittings including a neat brass cap to each of them, across which the net rope would be passed, both fixed with an iron spike at the end, allowing them to be freely standing and supported purely by guy-ropes attached at each side of the court, one of the poles is fitted with a small bone plaque with printed maker's name, height 107cm., 42 in., diameter 5cm., 2in.
