A Spanish poster for the Real Madrid v Tottenham Hotspur match played at the Bernabeu 20th March 1985, printed by Ortega, 96.5 by 55cm., 38 by 21 1/2in. This was a 1/4f UEFA Cup tie. The 1-0 reverse at White Hart Lane was the first time Tottenham had lost a home leg in European competition, and the first time they had failed to score a goal. The game at the Bernabeu ended as a 0-0 draw and Real Madrid progressed to eventually lift the UEFA Cup trophy. The 1985 match remained the only occasion that Spurs had played Real Madrid in a competitive match until last season's Champions League encounter.
