Five medals relating to football in the East Midlands, comprising: i & ii) two cased Derbyshire Football Association medals, the first a gold-mounted silver medal inscribed DERBYSHIRE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION, SENIOR CUP FINAL, 1897-8, the case with similar inscription; the second medal in silver and uninscribed but in the original case inscribed DERBYSHIRE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION 1896-7; iii) a Leicestershire Football Association Senior Cup winner's medal season 1902-03, in silver-gilt & enamel, in original case of issue; iv) a similarly designed medal, but in silver, engraved to the reverse T CLIFFORD SANLEY; v) a 9ct. gold medal, uninscribed, but belonging to this same group; the lot also including an empty medal case inscribed LEICESTERSHIRE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION, 1907-8 (6)
