A Huntley and Palmers F.A. Cup trophy biscuit tin 1927, in aluminium, height 21cm., 8 1/4in. These tins were produced by Huntley and Palmers when the company's hometown club Reading (hence the nickname The Biscuitmen') enjoyed a memorable Cup run that saw them reach the semi-final. Unfortunately Reading did not reach the final and interest waned, with many pre-made examples redirected for the export market.
