Two original press photographs at the official draw for the 1950 World Cup at the Brazilian Foreign Office in Rio de Janeiro, large 8 by 10in. b&w prints, the showing Ottorino Barassi President of the Italian F.A. twirling the cage containing numbered balls to determine the draw, the figure in white is Hugo Fracarolli, the Brazilian representative of FIFA, the second photograph is taken from a wider angle and shows all the delegates; sold together with a third photograph taken at a meeting of the World Cup Organising Committee at Lancaster Gate in London chaired by Stanley Rous as they discuss vacant positions due to the withdrawal of Scotland and Turkey from the 1950 World Cup before the draw, backstamps and printed captions (3)
