A group of 14 original b&w match-action press photographs of the West Germany v Argentina 1958 World Cup Group 1 match played at Malmo, various sizes the largest 7 by 9 1/2in., the group including Argentina players singing the national anthem and offering a very clear view of their shirts that day which were borrowed from IFK Malmo as they were not allowed to wear their pale blue & white striped jerseys as they clashed with the white shirts of West Germany, neither team seemingly had foreseen the problem; other subjects mostly match-action, the two teams emerging from the tunnel and an Argentina team-group taken at their training ground prior to this their opening match, backstamps, printed captions; sold together with a facsimile of the ticket for this match (15)
