Frederick Sanderson Archive: cricket, a small cabinet photographic card of the 8th Australian cricket team to England in 1893, presumably obtained by Sanderson at the Yorkshire v Australians match at Bramall Lane, Sheffield, 22-23 May 1893 (Trumble, 12 for 81 in the match), an autographed manuscript letter from the cricket historian and statistician F.S. Ashley-Cooper dated 19th July 1921 requesting an unfolded copy of the scorecard be sent to him on the conclusion of the Yorkshire v Australia game at Bramall Lane 20-22 July 1921; five various cricket postcards including the 1921 Australians; a ticket for the England v Yorkshire Test at The Oval in 1934; and the following three items that must have been from his descendants, match tickets for the Friday, Saturday & Monday of the Headingley Test during the 1948 England v Australia Ashes series (11 items) For information on Frederick Sanderson refer to the football section of the catalogue, lot 226.
