John Roberts Jnr. (1847-1919) was the dominant English professional billiards player of his day. He was also a manufacturer of billiards equipment. There were two variants of the sport ''all-in'' and ''Spot-barred''. Roberts competed in the latter an in 1884 recorded a record score of 360.
