A group of memorabilia relating to Dorothy Billson leader and coach of the Great Britain women's gymnastics team at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games, comprising: a bronze participation medal designed by Otto Placzek in original red, circular paper but lacking the lid; a gymnast's participant's badge, by Lauer, bronze, Olympic Rings over the Brandenburg Gate, numbered 2999, with pink ribbon inscribed TURNEN, brooch fitting; a gilt-metal and white enamel badge designed with the Brandenburg Gate over Olympic Rings, brooch fitting; an enamelled metal Great Britain team badge, original brooch pin missing; sold together with Dorothy Billson's autograph book/diary from the 1936 Games, including team-group signatures of the British women's gymnastics team, the German gold medal winning women and the silver medal team from Czechoslovakia, as well as a selection of other competitors' signatures; some period photographs of the British team and the gymnastics competition; two large German souvenir books/albums; and other miscellaneous items
