An official poster for the 1924 Paris Olympic Games, the primary design featuring saluting athletes by Jean Droit (1884-1961), signed in the plate, colour lithograph, published by Hachard & Cie., Paris, visible image 108 by 76cm., mounted, framed, & glazed, in very good condition with only very minor imperfections The official poster competition for Paris in 1924 received no less than 150 entries. This may explain why the Committee selected two designs for the Games. The other, considered the secondary poster, by Orsi (1889-1947), features a javelin thrower.
