Large collection of signed rugby shirts and other items, Including a British & Irish Lions rugby shirt signed by 13 members of the 2001 touring team to Australia, red replica shirt, signatures in black marker pen; sold together with a dealer's COA plus a match programme for the 14th July Test Match, and a souvenir tour cap; an Andrew Higgins: a signed blue, black & white Bath No.12 rugby union match jersey, reverse mounted, signed between the player lettering and the shirt number in black marker pen, Zurich Premier Rugby & team sponsor's patch to sleeves; sold together with a team-signed yellow Bath rugby jersey from a similar period, extensively signed in black marker pen, both items similarly framed and measuring 102 by 89cm., 40 by 35in.; and many other miscellaneous signed rugby shirts and other items, mostly dating from the 2000s, the lot including a 2002 Barbarians signed shirt, a Barbarians polo shirt originally issued to Rob Howley and signed by 35 Barbarians (with COA), two similar Wales retro shirts both double-signed by Barry John & the recently departed Mervyn Davies, and also a souvenir 2003 World Cup ball with the same signatures plus David Trick (with a menu relating to where the ball was bought); a Cardiff RFC track suit top signed by Mike Hall, a Northampton shirt signed by Tom Smith & Matt Dawson, a signed pair of Andrew Lewis Wales match shorts (with accompanying signed photocard) and a Saints team-signed miniature pennant, a pair of New Zealand shorts bearing one unidentified signature, a souvenir Wales baseball cap signed by a player & inscribed with his shirt number '0', a Big Blue Tube certificated autographed photographic print of Martin Johnson holding aloft the Rugby World Cup Trophy, and two framed items being a Bristol Shoguns shirt with a single signature that curiously appears to be Sebastian Coe, and a Big Blue Tube limited edition photographic print signed by Gareth Edwards; sold together with one cricketing item being a Pakistan ODI replica shirt signed by Waqar Younis (a qty.)
