Ian Wright scored the winning goal. Jerry Sikhosana had come off the bench in the 55th minute to replace Augustine. Jerry Sikhosana nicknamed 'Legs of Thunder' played for Orlando Pirates and was a member of the South Africa squad at the 1998 World Cup.
