Start a valuationA 1905-06 Football League Division Two Championship medal awarded to the Bristol City goalkeeper Harry Clay, in 15ct. gold, the obverse with club crest and inscribed BRISTOL CITY F.C., CHAMPIONS, DIV II, the reverse inscribed THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE, 1905-6, H.CLAY Bristol City finished their Championship season with 66 points, four clear of their nearest rivals Manchester United. They won 30 of their 38 fixtures, drawing six and losing just two. Harry Clay kept goal in all but two of Bristol City's League matches. Harry Clay died in Bristol, 9th August 1964.
